Nu Quantum, a leading quantum computing company based in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a VP of Business Development to lead its global business development strategy, expand market reach internationally, build strategic partnerships, and drive growth initiatives aligned with the company’s business plan. The role involves working hands-on with cross-functional teams, including the CEO, Product, and Technology executives, to identify and win commercial opportunities, establish pricing strategies, and represent Nu Quantum’s technology to partners and customers. Candidates should have a technical STEM undergraduate degree, proven experience in senior commercial roles within technology companies, ability to articulate complex technical concepts, experience building and leading small global teams, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in quantum computing, scaling revenue in deep tech or emerging tech companies, and working in high-growth startup environments (Series A/B) is highly desirable. The position requires a proactive, collaborative mindset, ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, pre-product-market-fit environment, and comfort navigating ambiguity. The role is full-time, permanent, on-site in Cambridge, UK, with visa sponsorship available.
