The University of Glasgow is seeking a Test Manager to join its Information Services IT team. This full-time, open-ended role involves developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions across the full development lifecycle. The successful candidate will lead and manage testing functions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, define testing scopes and objectives, and oversee risk assessments and test plans. The role requires expertise in automated testing tools, agile development methodologies, and risk management practices. Strong leadership, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is experience in test planning, team development, and stakeholder engagement. Applicants should have experience in testing large-scale IT systems and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Test Director, or Jmeter. The role offers a competitive salary between £49,559 and £57,422 per annum and may be eligible for visa sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route.
