Mistral AI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Program Manager (Human Data Annotation - Code) to join our dynamic Science team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the development and execution of human data annotation programs supporting our coding research initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with research scientists, engineers, and product teams to define campaign requirements, including task guidelines, timelines, budgets, and success metrics. The position involves managing end-to-end annotation workflows—from vendor selection, onboarding, and training to quality assurance and performance tracking—while ensuring that all generated data meets the highest standards for coding-related AI research. You will also develop and implement manual and automated data quality audits, synthesize insights, and provide actionable feedback to improve annotation processes and model performance. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience in technical program management or software engineering, proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or React, and strong organizational and communication skills. Prior experience in data collection or quality operations, vendor management, and an understanding of large language models (LLMs) are valuable assets.
