The Technical Product Owner at Cambridge University Press & Assessment is responsible for setting the vision, defining requirements, and prioritising platform systems that support the Cambridge Academic platform and its products, including Cambridge Core, Open Engage, and Higher Education. The role involves collaborating with technical development teams and business stakeholders to deliver new components, features, and improvements aligned with product goals. The successful candidate will analyse requirements, propose appropriate solutions and workflows, maintain roadmaps, and manage stakeholder relationships and conflicting deadlines. As a subject matter expert for back-end components, they will work closely with the Solutions Architecture team and other Product Owners. This hybrid position (minimum two days in the Cambridge office per week) offers a permanent contract and a salary range of £49,000 to £65,500.
