Astroscale is looking for a motivated Technical Bid Manager to join their UK office in the Harwell Space Cluster, Didcot (Oxfordshire) in a hybrid work setup. The role primarily supports national institutional opportunities and focuses on the development and submission of technical bids, particularly for UK Space Agency (UKSA) and European Space Agency (ESA) projects. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Business Development and Product Strategy and will manage full bid lifecycles, including feasibility analysis, financial planning, and partner coordination, while working closely with internal teams like engineering, procurement, and finance. This position requires 2–4 years of experience in bid management or technical roles within the space industry, ideally with hands-on experience in UKSA/ESA bid submissions such as ARTES, GSTP, or ITTs. Candidates should have strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and a technical understanding of spacecraft systems and the broader space ecosystem. The ideal person is proactive, self-motivated, and eager to support Astroscale’s mission to reduce space debris and ensure the sustainable use of space.
