Orbex is seeking a Senior Fluid Systems Design Engineer to support the AIT Department in Scotland, focusing on design, development, analysis, and integration of complex fluid delivery systems for test sites and the spaceport. The role involves engineering LPG, water deluge, helium, and liquid nitrogen systems, creating P&IDs, performing CFD/FEA and thermal simulations, developing and executing test plans, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Candidates should have a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, hands-on experience with high-pressure and cryogenic fluid systems, CAD proficiency (SolidWorks), and skills in numerical and engine performance analysis tools.
