The role involves designing, optimizing, and automating robust system rig designs, integrating complex prototype systems into physical test environments, and delivering architecture, wiring, and cooling schematics aligned with project timelines and technical standards. Responsibilities include producing audit-ready documentation, driving continuous improvement, leading Agile delivery with effective sprint planning, risk mitigation, KPI tracking, mentoring team members, promoting Scrum values, and collaborating cross-functionally to align requirements, maintain clear communication, and manage JIRA workflows. Candidates must have proven experience in system rig design, development, or integration, strong technical understanding of automotive powertrain systems and associated interfaces, familiarity with System Engineering tools such as MSOSA or SysML, a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), and skills in automotive wiring harness and high-voltage breakout box design. Agile methodology experience (Scrum/Kanban), strong communication skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to mentor are essential. Desirable qualifications include JIRA/Confluence experience, prototype system integration knowledge, understanding of automotive safety standards, and proactive problem-solving skills.
