Based in Cambridge, this is an excellent opportunity for a Staff RF IC Design Engineer to become a key member of a world-class mmWave IC design team working on cutting-edge 6G RF products. The role is with a global leader in RF technology, where the successful engineer will be responsible for the specification, design, implementation, and verification of complex analog and RF circuit blocks or sub-systems, such as filters, low noise amplifiers (LNAs), power amplifiers (PAs), and mixers. The focus of this role is delivering high-performance analog and RF circuit blocks with first-silicon success in advanced CMOS nodes. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s or PhD degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of hands-on industrial experience designing RF circuits in advanced CMOS technologies (16nm or below). A strong analytical approach, combined with a proven track record of successful tape-outs, is essential. Additional expertise required includes a solid understanding of modern transceiver architectures, optimization techniques in RF IC layout, and deep familiarity with the Cadence Analog Design Environment. Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset are also crucial.
