This is a rare opportunity for a Staff PDK Engineer to join one of the world’s leaders in Semiconductor technology, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The Staff PDK (Process Design Kit) Engineer will be part of a world-class chip development team designing high-performance ASICs. Key responsibilities include developing and integrating technology files, models, and decks (DRC, LVS), and collaborating with the design and layout teams to support tapeout. The successful candidate will also mentor and train less experienced engineers, with potential to grow into a leadership role. The ideal applicant will hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, possess strong CAD experience, and have a background in analog/mixed-signal IC design. Practical experience with PDK development, installation, customization, and validation is essential, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a team-based, fast-paced environment.
