OLIX is seeking a highly experienced Staff FPGA Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and technical direction of FPGA-based systems within the OTPU platform. This senior role involves defining high-performance FPGA subsystems across high-speed interfaces, precision timing and synchronization, transceivers, and signal processing pipelines, while collaborating closely with ASIC, hardware, optical, and software teams. The engineer will drive FPGA-based prototyping to support silicon development, establish design methodologies and verification strategies, implement robust error detection and correction mechanisms, and ensure system-level debugging and production-ready solutions. The role requires expertise in PCIe, multi-lane transceivers, FPGA signal processing, deterministic networking, and timing architectures, as well as experience with Xilinx/AMD UltraScale+ or Versal architectures. The candidate will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, optimize performance, and maintain awareness of FPGA advancements.
