The AEH (Airborne Electronic Hardware) Certification Engineer at GE Aerospace will lead hardware certification efforts, including planning and ensuring regulatory compliance for various civil and military aerospace projects. This role involves defining certification strategies, determining means of compliance, supporting project planning, reviewing development artifacts, conducting internal and external certification audits, and engaging with regulatory authorities. The engineer will collaborate with integrated project teams to resolve audit findings and may participate in industry working groups. Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, providing training, and supporting staff development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ASIC, FPGA, and CPLD technologies, along with expertise in certification regulations like RTCA/DO-254 and AC 20-152. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
