About the job

Flux Computing is seeking an experienced and motivated Staff High Speed Analog Electronics Engineer to lead the development of precision analog and mixed-signal circuitry critical to the performance of its Optical Tensor Processing Units (OTPUs). The role involves designing, simulating, and developing high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuits, evaluating PCB designs for signal integrity, and collaborating closely with optical, digital, and FPGA engineers to ensure high-fidelity signal transmission and tight synchronization across cutting-edge AI accelerator hardware. The engineer will define and implement strategies for signal integrity, power integrity, and noise mitigation in densely packed, high-speed environments, conduct detailed testing and validation of analog circuits using lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, and spectrum/network analyzers, develop test boards and bring-up procedures for prototype and production hardware, lead root-cause analysis and resolution of board-level issues, guide junior engineers on best practices and robust design-for-manufacturability approaches, coordinate cross-functional debug and validation efforts, and champion best practices in analog board-level design, validation, and documentation across the organization. Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in high-speed analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including expertise with high-speed components (ADCs, DACs, laser drivers, TIAs), signal integrity, noise analysis, silicon validation, and automated test frameworks, with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (Master’s or PhD preferred). The role offers competitive salary, stock options, visa sponsorship, full relocation support, BUPA healthcare, high-spec tech setups, pension plan, 25 days paid holiday plus UK bank holidays, monthly off-site team socials, and access to in-house 3D printing and other employee benefits.
