About the job

Arondite, a defence technology company building foundational software and AI for the autonomous age, is hiring a Full Stack Software Engineer in London (Hybrid). The role involves designing, building, and testing core software platforms and user interfaces that enable autonomous systems to collaborate, process large-scale sensor datasets, and present complex information intuitively for web and Android applications. Responsibilities include writing mission-critical, maintainable, and flexible code, integrating third-party APIs, developing and documenting internal APIs, and collaborating with customers to rapidly implement features aligned with their priorities, which may involve on-site visits and field testing with autonomous and robotic systems. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience), strong programming skills in server-side languages such as C++, Java, Rust, or Python, and front-end experience with TypeScript or JavaScript using frameworks like Angular or React. Preferred skills include experience with Docker, Kubernetes, SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, embedded or resource-constrained devices, and applications of machine learning. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, enthusiasm for expanding technical knowledge, and eligibility for UK Security Check clearance (normally five years of UK residency). Arondite offers a highly competitive base salary, equity through EMI share options, a 7% employer pension contribution, private health and dental insurance, free meals, relocation support, and visa sponsorship for exceptional candidates, along with the opportunity to work alongside brilliant engineers solving complex defence and autonomous systems challenges in a collaborative, engineering-driven culture.
