The role of Software Team Lead involves leading the design, architecture, and development of new features and services, while ensuring the ongoing maintenance and security of existing services. The team works closely with Product Owners to ensure all requirements are thoroughly understood and met. The Software Team Lead will also be responsible for managing development teams, setting targets, and driving performance, while actively influencing the technological direction of Jisc and contributing to process improvements that enhance software quality, cost-efficiency, and team performance. The role supports a flexible hybrid work environment, allowing for a mix of home and office work, with the option to travel to any of the company’s hubs in London, Bristol, Manchester, or Oxford.
