PEN Group is seeking a Software Project Manager to lead and manage the development of multiple internal and commercial software platforms across industries including education technology, HR management systems, hospitality operations, travel platforms, and CRM solutions. The role requires candidates who started their careers as software developers and later transitioned into project or product management, enabling them to understand code, architecture, and engineering challenges. The selected candidate will manage an overseas development team, translate business requirements into technical tasks, oversee project delivery, conduct code reviews, and ensure that platforms are scalable, secure, and maintainable. Applicants should have at least two years of software development experience with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, or PHP along with knowledge of relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and familiarity with AI integration in software products will be an advantage. The position is full-time and office-based in Canary Wharf, London, offering a salary between £43,000 and £48,000 per year along with benefits such as pension schemes, career development opportunities, discounts, and Tier 2 visa sponsorship for eligible international candidates.
