Astroscale UK is seeking an experienced and motivated Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong background or interest in the space domain to join the Ground Segment Software team in Didcot, England. The successful candidate will contribute to solving the critical issue of orbital debris by designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality full stack software for the Ground Segment of the ELSA-M mission and other projects. Responsibilities include building scalable backend services, interactive frontend interfaces, managing databases, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting issues, and participating in SCRUM ceremonies. The role requires 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, object-oriented programming (Java, Python, or C++), and frontend frameworks like React. Additional desirable skills include Docker, Kubernetes, Git, SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and familiarity with space domain protocols.
