As a Software Engineer in Knowledge and Search, you will play a critical role in designing, building, maintaining, and scaling the company’s advanced search and indexing systems that form the backbone connecting users to the information they need efficiently and reliably. You will be responsible for developing fast, robust, and scalable search capabilities that handle complex data ingestion, indexing, and retrieval pipelines, ensuring these systems meet the demanding performance and reliability expectations of both internal stakeholders and enterprise customers across a wide variety of use cases. Your work will involve close collaboration with data scientists, infrastructure engineers, and product teams to optimize search performance, manage infrastructure using modern cloud-native technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform, and continuously innovate to push the limits of what is possible in distributed search systems. The ideal candidate will have over seven years of professional experience, possess deep expertise in backend software development with strong proficiency in languages like Python, Go, C++, or Rust, and hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Experience with AI/ML engineering, cloud infrastructure, and infrastructure management tools is highly desirable.
