At Mistral AI, we are looking for experienced backend software engineers with strong proficiency in Python, Docker, and Kubernetes to join our Engineering & Infrastructure team. This role focuses on deploying and integrating our cutting-edge AI models and APIs across a variety of infrastructure setups, including major cloud providers and on-premises solutions. You will be responsible for launching new features and models swiftly and reliably, enhancing the infrastructure to support deployment across internal and third-party platforms, addressing AI safety in third-party environments, and ensuring high availability and performance through effective observability and monitoring. You will also work on optimizing the allocation of computing resources to make the best use of high-performance chips. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of relevant experience, a master’s degree in computer science or a related field, excellent backend development skills, deep knowledge of infrastructure tools (Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform), and experience with multi-environment LLM deployments. This hybrid role is available in various European cities including Paris, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, London, Barcelona, and Madrid, with travel to the Paris HQ required during the onboarding period.
