As a Software Engineer on the Deployment team, you will be responsible for deploying and integrating advanced AI models and APIs across a variety of infrastructure configurations, including public cloud providers, private cloud, and on-premises environments. Collaborating closely with research, product, solution architect, and program management teams, you will ensure the fast and reliable launch of new models and features to customers. Your key responsibilities will include building and testing deployment infrastructure, maintaining AI safety on third-party platforms, collaborating on observability and monitoring to achieve high availability and performance, and optimizing resource allocation to maximize the use of costly compute chips. Candidates should have at least five years of relevant backend development experience with strong Python skills and expertise in infrastructure management tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, as well as a solid understanding of cloud ecosystems and the challenges of deploying large language models in diverse environments. The role is primarily based in Paris, France, with flexible remote work options and requires occasional visits to the headquarters.
