At GE Aerospace, we are innovating aviation technologies, and we need a Software Certification Staff Engineer to lead software certification efforts for regulatory compliance in our Aviation Systems products, including power generation, navigation, sensors, and more. The role involves leading compliance planning, performing certification audits, and mentoring less experienced engineers. As part of a dynamic and diverse team, the Software Certification Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet rigorous safety and regulatory standards. This includes determining the product certification strategy, supporting the creation of project plans, reviewing development artifacts, and performing internal and external audits. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and certification, particularly within an RTCA/DO-178B or C environment.
