The Software Certification Engineer at GE Aerospace will be responsible for leading software certification efforts for various aviation systems, ensuring all products meet the necessary certification and regulatory compliance requirements. This role includes supporting the creation of certification strategies, reviewing development artifacts, and conducting certification audits for both internal projects and external suppliers. The engineer will collaborate with Integrated Project Teams to resolve any audit findings or observations, as well as support Customer AR and Regulatory Authority audits. Additionally, they will contribute to the planning and determination of compliance means and be involved in industry working groups to stay updated on certification standards. This position requires experience in RTCA/DO-178B or C environments and demonstrating compliance with relevant certification regulations.
