The Senior Software Engineer, QA at Mistral AI will be responsible for validating the behavior of machine learning models, building automated testing suites for APIs, and ensuring seamless integration with the inference stack. The role involves analyzing edge cases in collaboration with product managers, validating release readiness through quality gates, and designing systematic QA campaigns including functional, stress, and performance testing. The engineer will also contribute to developing quality platforms and tools to scale testing efficiency. Ideal candidates have strong experience with QA tools like Postman and Selenium, proficiency in Python or similar languages, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Prior experience testing machine learning models and understanding the ML lifecycle is preferred. This is a full-time hybrid role available in multiple cities across Europe, and Mistral AI offers visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.
