Ankar is building the AI operating system for innovation, transforming how companies generate and protect intellectual property in a world where most enterprise value is intangible. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take full ownership of designing, building, and scaling reliable, user-facing and backend systems that power Ankar’s AI-driven products, working end-to-end across frontend, backend, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance. You will translate ambiguous, real-world problems into clear, maintainable, production-ready solutions, ship fast with constant iteration based on direct customer feedback, and help define engineering patterns that balance velocity, quality, and long-term scalability. This role requires a highly product-minded, high-agency engineer with 5+ years of experience who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, demonstrates strong systems thinking, communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and partners closely with product, design, and customers to deliver meaningful impact. You will raise engineering standards, proactively identify product needs, and build systems that scale with users over time. The tech stack includes Java, Python, Elastic, Postgres, React, and TypeScript.
