This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior RF IC Design Engineer to join a brand-new IC design team within a rapidly growing fabless semiconductor start-up based in Cambridge. The company is pioneering a breakthrough approach in wireless technology design, streamlining architectures, simplifying production, and reducing supply chain waste, with strong growth and expansion plans ahead. In this role, you will be responsible for designing RF circuits including wide band LNAs, RF switches, digitally tuneable capacitors, and other analog circuits, as well as supporting silicon RF IC circuit integration into multi-chip modules, setting up co-simulation environments, developing simulation models, and using RF measurement equipment to troubleshoot issues. You will also mentor junior engineers and contribute to fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture. The successful candidate will have proven experience in RF IC design with in-depth knowledge of Cadence tools (Spectre a plus), detailed transistor-level expertise including LNAs, and a track record of using various silicon technologies such as SOI. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the motivation to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced start-up environment.
