Octagon Group is partnering exclusively with a leading Satellite Communications Engineering organisation near Watford, Hertfordshire, just west of London. With over 40 years of experience in the industry and consistent year-on-year growth, the company is looking to add a Senior RF Design Engineer to their R&D team. This role involves the design, development, testing, and implementation of L-band to Ku-band RF electronic products and systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in RF and/or Microwave Engineering, RF Systems Engineering, and power amplifier design, along with experience in full product life-cycle development. An academic background in Electronics, RF, Wireless Communications, or Microwave Engineering is preferred. Additional experience with RF test and measurement equipment, TwTs, RF over Fibre, or RF Filter design is a plus. This is a hybrid, full-time role offering a competitive salary of £65,000 to £75,000 per year along with benefits, hybrid working options, and visa sponsorship and relocation assistance if required.
