The Senior Project Manager will report to the Head of Project Delivery within the Programme Delivery directorate and work collaboratively across Information Services to deliver projects that enhance staff and student experiences. The role involves leading and managing multiple large-scale organisational, systems, and data projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales, budgets, and scopes. Responsibilities include initiating and planning projects, managing resources, coordinating cross-functional teams including external parties, ensuring stakeholder engagement, implementing risk and quality management processes, and reporting progress to senior university forums and project boards. The post requires extensive knowledge of change management, Agile methodologies, IT system lifecycles, business process mapping, and project governance. Essential qualifications include a degree or equivalent in IT or management, relevant project management certifications, and a proven track record in leading complex projects. Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills are crucial. This full-time post is fixed term for up to 12 months and is eligible for sponsorship under the UK Skilled Worker visa route, subject to meeting the visa requirements.
