The Senior Programme Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering strategic and tactical programmes aimed at improving access to education globally. This includes overseeing the planning and management of technology programmes within the Technology and Product Groups, collaborating with Directors, team members, and stakeholders to implement and deliver strategic initiatives. The role will focus on managing people, processes, and technology change, ensuring the successful delivery of programmes by managing risks, dependencies, and benefits. Additionally, the Senior Programme Manager will mentor and lead Senior Project Managers and Project Managers within the team, providing support in recruitment, training, and development. This position will involve working on diverse programmes, from business change initiatives to IT development projects, and requires the ability to adapt to new challenges and opportunities. Effective leadership, communication, and proactive problem-solving are key to ensuring that each programme delivers its intended outcomes. The role will require a strategic overview, as well as the ability to dive into details and resolve issues when necessary. A strong emphasis on collaboration, consensus-building, and people development is critical, alongside expertise in governance, agile methodologies, and user-centered design.
