This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior PDK Engineer to join a world-leading semiconductor company based in Edinburgh, UK. The role involves working within a top-tier chip development team focused on designing high-performance ASICs. As the key UK contact for Process Design Kit (PDK) activities, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with the US-based PDK team. Responsibilities include developing and integrating technology files, models, and design rule checking (DRC) and layout versus schematic (LVS) decks, supporting design and layout teams for tapeouts, and mentoring junior engineers. Ideal applicants will have at least 8 years of experience, a university degree in electrical engineering or a related field, and a strong background in analog/mixed-signal IC design and CAD tools. Hands-on experience in PDK development, installation, customization, and validation is essential.
