The Senior ML Software Engineer will take over the management and development of existing machine learning applications within the Cambridge English AI department. This role involves ensuring a smooth transition from external contractors, enhancing current systems, and collaborating with various teams to support the organization's educational mission. Responsibilities include designing and developing full-stack ML applications using React for the frontend and Python for the backend, implementing and optimizing language processing systems, and creating responsive user interfaces. The engineer will also develop maintainable RESTful APIs, work with ML Ops Engineers and project managers, ensure compliance with educational data standards, and produce clear technical documentation.
