Depop is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join us permanently. Within this role, you’ll be working in the Customer Experience (CX) product engineering team developing the services used for interaction between our customers, Depop agents, and Depop. As a senior-level iOS engineer at Depop you’ll add new functionality as well as improve existing features through data driven A/B testing workflow and experiments. You will be working in Swift, alongside backend and other iOS engineers, leveraging our CI pipeline with unit and integration testing built in, to iterate our native iOS application to help our millions of users to fall into the pit of success. Our small multidisciplinary product teams are supported by a much wider community of Depop iOS developers, insights teams, product managers and platform engineers. You’ll report to an engineering manager who is a member of your delivery team - their goal is to ensure you are set for meaningful career growth, engagement, and support. We’re open for this role to be based remotely from anywhere in the UK, or on a hybrid basis within our London.
