This role focuses on managing high-performance computing environments and involves advanced Linux system administration, automation, and infrastructure optimization. The Senior HPC Engineer will act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues, lead deployments of new compute technologies, manage technical projects from planning to handover, and ensure system performance and security standards. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, optimizing performance, mentoring peers, and representing the team to management. Candidates should have a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least five years of Linux administration experience—ideally within HPC environments. Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Perl), automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud or virtualization experience is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential.
