Astroscale UK is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong background or interest in the space domain to join the Ground Segment Software team in Didcot, England. This exciting opportunity allows professionals to contribute to a rapidly growing company focused on solving the critical issue of orbital debris and ensuring the sustainable development of space operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and dynamic, interactive frontend interfaces using modern technologies, along with managing databases, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, mission-critical software solutions for the ELSA-M mission and other advanced space projects. The role requires at least five years of experience in full-stack development, object-oriented programming (preferably in Java, Python, or C++), and frontend frameworks such as React. Additional expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, Git, SQL databases, CI/CD tools, and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable.
