This role involves designing, evaluating, testing, and building embedded real-time firmware and software for devices used globally. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in embedded firmware development, particularly with C++, 32-bit microprocessors (ARM preferred), and 8/16-bit microcontrollers. Key responsibilities include designing and developing firmware/software drivers, creating test procedures, conducting unit and integration testing, and leading small teams. Additional skills such as USB knowledge, Python, object-oriented software design, and software configuration management are preferred. This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days on-site in Dundee, Scotland. The company provides visa sponsorship and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.
