Concrete4Change (C4C) is a pioneering ClimateTech company developing breakthrough CO₂ mineralisation technology that transforms concrete into a carbon-negative material. The company recently scaled its additive production process 10× and is constructing a mini full-flowsheet pilot plant in Nottingham to demonstrate the system with real flue gas integration. As a Senior Process Engineer, you will lead the company’s scale-up journey from lab pilot to commercial demonstration, working closely with the CTO on process modelling, design documentation, and optimisation. The role involves managing pilot operations, coordinating with EPCs and subcontractors, performing techno-economic analysis, and driving continuous process improvements. You will collaborate across disciplines with chemists, mechanical and process control engineers to ensure successful plant commissioning and operation. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in process design, commissioning, or scale-up (preferably involving solids handling or mineral processing), with strong leadership and project management skills. Proficiency in tools like Aspen, Python, or Excel is desirable. This full-time permanent position offers a competitive salary (£60,000–£80,000), bonus scheme, private health insurance, equity participation, pension plan, and visa sponsorship.
