A fast-growing, VC-backed AI-first scale-up is looking for a Senior 3D Computer Vision Engineer to join their London-based team. This company is at the forefront of innovation in 3D vision and AI, building advanced platforms that automate complex physical processes in one of the world’s largest and most critical industries. You will be responsible for developing and deploying 3D vision and machine learning algorithms to transform unstructured data into real-time, structured insights at scale. This is a hands-on role involving end-to-end AI/ML pipeline development, where you will influence technical strategy, mentor junior engineers, and optimize performance across the data and AI lifecycle. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies such as point cloud data, LiDAR, PyTorch3D, Open3D, PointNet, and cloud infrastructure, applying research to practical, real-world challenges with high environmental and economic impact. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in 3D Computer Vision, Machine Vision, or Computational Geometry, with a strong command of Python, experience in deploying full AI/ML systems, and a deep understanding of spatial data processing. A Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with experience in digital twin technologies, robotics, or ML frameworks for 3D data will be highly regarded. This hybrid role requires two days per week in a modern office space located in Zone 1, Central London. UK work authorisation is preferred, but visa sponsorship is available for exceptional candidates who demonstrate the right technical capability and drive to contribute at a high level in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
