Nu Quantum is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their innovative team in Cambridge, UK, focused on developing cutting-edge quantum networking hardware. This full-time, permanent role involves high-frequency and radio-frequency electronic design, producing schematics and PCB layouts, running simulations, organizing prototype manufacturing, and hands-on testing using tools like oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers. The engineer will collaborate with experts across mechanical, optical, software, and nanofabrication disciplines to refine architectures and deliver complex systems. Candidates should have a degree in electronics, physics, or a related field, with industry experience in RF engineering concepts such as s-parameters and impedance matching, as well as proficiency in electronic design and simulation tools. Desirable skills include soldering high-density PCBs, Altium Designer, FPGA experience, and understanding of electronic noise.
