The Senior DevOps Engineer – Cloud / AI Native at GE Aerospace (SATAVIA) will be responsible for designing, building, and operating scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native and AI-native infrastructure to support aviation decarbonization technologies. This role involves working with modern DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, GitLab, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure. The engineer will automate infrastructure and deployment pipelines, manage serverless computing, handle HPC clusters, ensure compliance with security and reliability standards, and work closely with software development teams in agile environments to enhance system performance and scalability. Key responsibilities include improving deployment processes, reducing system downtime, managing monitoring and alerting tools, and mentoring team members. The position requires experience in cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, container orchestration, and security practices.
