The Senior Delivery Manager will join a vibrant and dynamic software delivery team at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, contributing to a wide range of projects including enhancing established application suites and launching innovative new products and services. The role requires a hands-on, proactive professional with extensive experience in software development life cycles and delivery methodologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling efficient product delivery across various teams, resolving issues, supporting Product Managers and Heads of Education Exam Solutions, acting as Scrum Master when needed, managing delivery planning and execution, and fostering a positive team culture. They will be expected to demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement up to Director level, risk and issue management, and reporting capabilities. The role requires expertise in frameworks and tools like Scrum, Kanban, ITIL, Jira, and Trello, and a deep understanding of agile mindsets. Strong leadership and coaching abilities are essential, as is the ability to motivate cross-functional teams and manage incidents effectively. The position is based in Cambridge, offers hybrid working (minimum two days in office), a competitive salary between £50,000 and £66,950, and a comprehensive benefits package.
