An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Aston University’s Data & Analytics team as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer, where you will play a vital role in delivering the Aston 2030 Strategy by developing new data, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities across the University. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and development of innovative data and analytics products, from gathering requirements and developing user stories to working closely with the team and vendors to ensure that data solutions are scalable and efficient. You will design and deliver advanced dashboards using Power BI, build department-specific data models to enhance self-service capabilities, and ensure that solutions are intuitive, scalable, and accessible via both mobile technologies and the web. The role requires expertise in data engineering, data management, and data visualisation, along with the ability to mentor and support junior team members to encourage the democratisation of data and promote a strong data culture. With a permanent full-time contract offering a salary of £47,389 to £56,535 per annum, this position provides excellent development opportunities, generous benefits, and is likely to meet the requirements for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
