The Senior Business Analyst at Jisc is a hybrid, full-time permanent role offering a salary of approximately £43,500 per annum (negotiable depending on experience), reporting directly to the Business Analyst Team Lead. Based within Jisc’s digital transformation programme, the role supports enterprise-wide technology and business change projects, helping to improve services for UK education and research. Operating across Jisc’s central services and customer-facing teams, the Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in scoping and defining projects, eliciting and managing complex business requirements, analysing and optimising processes, identifying and communicating business value, and leading stakeholder engagement. The position involves producing business cases, working within Agile delivery teams, applying analytical tools like BPMN and UML, and supporting project success from initiation through to benefits realisation. The role is ideal for an experienced analyst with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a methodical and logical mindset, and the ability to influence at all levels. Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Lucidchart is desirable, as is a background in digital service delivery, higher education, or the public sector.
