The Senior Analyst role in the Analytics & Mutuals Division (AMD) at the Bank of England offers an exciting opportunity to lead data projects that enhance the UKDT and PRA supervision through delivering insightful data analysis and innovative data tools. The role is part of the Core Data Team, responsible for developing and improving data tools, thematic insights, and analytical outputs to support the supervision of over 700 banks, building societies, and credit unions in the UK, ensuring a safe and sound banking system. The successful candidate will lead workstreams involving data analysts and scientists, collaborate with stakeholders including supervisors and technical specialists, and implement data-driven solutions using programming languages such as Python, R, SQL and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, R Shiny, or Streamlit. The role includes working on cloud technologies such as Azure and Databricks and contributing to data quality, data culture, and AI projects. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, experience in delivering data tools and thematic analysis, and the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
