About the job

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for seasoned Senior Analog IC Design Engineers to become part of a well-established and innovative wireless silicon design team located in Essex, England. In this role, you will take full responsibility for the end-to-end analog IC design process, which includes the specification, circuit-level design, implementation, and verification of advanced analog sub-systems for cutting-edge sub-6G integrated circuits. You will also be expected to contribute to the development of comprehensive test plans and assist in the ASIC characterisation process. These responsibilities require a solid technical foundation and practical experience with industry-standard design methodologies. Ideal candidates will have a university degree in Electronics Engineering or a closely related field, supported by a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in analog IC design within a commercial environment. A strong understanding of both SiGe Bipolar and CMOS technologies is essential, along with deep familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso tools, which are critical for circuit simulation and layout tasks. The role demands not only technical excellence but also strong interpersonal skills, as you’ll be working within a collaborative team environment where clear communication and a positive team ethic are key to success. The ability to be physically present in the office for four days a week is required, supporting team interaction and high-quality project execution. The company is situated in a peaceful and attractive rural location, offering a unique blend of tranquillity and accessibility, with proximity to major towns and infrastructure. In return for your expertise and commitment, the company offers a competitive salary package (based on experience), along with a supportive work culture that promotes work-life balance, professional growth, and the chance to learn from some of the industry’s most accomplished engineers. Additionally, visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are available for international candidates, making this an ideal opportunity for engineers worldwide seeking to advance their careers in the UK semiconductor sector while contributing to impactful and forward-looking wireless technology solutions.
