The Senior 3D Computer Vision Engineer will join a fast-growing, VC-backed AI-first scale-up in London, developing and deploying 3D vision and machine learning algorithms to deliver real-time, structured insights from unstructured data at scale. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and scaling production-grade 3D AI systems using point cloud, LiDAR, and other spatial data, driving core module development in the 3D AI pipeline, collaborating with data operations teams, identifying performance bottlenecks across the data/AI lifecycle, translating state-of-the-art academic research into prototypes and scalable systems, and providing mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in 3D Computer Vision, Computational Geometry, or Machine Vision, proven full AI/ML pipeline delivery experience, strong Python skills, hands-on experience with 3D data and related libraries, and MSc/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields. Experience in startups, familiarity with ML/DL frameworks for 3D data, RDBMS deployment, and digital twin technologies is desirable. The role is hybrid (2 days in central London), offers a competitive salary, and visa sponsorship is available for exceptional candidates.
