IC Resources is seeking a Senior 3D Computer Vision Engineer to join a fast-growing, VC-backed AI-first scale-up based in London, offering a hybrid work model with two days per week in a central London office and visa sponsorship for exceptional candidates. The role provides a salary of £70,000–£90,000 and involves working at the forefront of 3D vision and AI, developing advanced platforms that automate complex physical processes with meaningful environmental and economic impact. The successful candidate will design, implement, and scale production-grade 3D AI and vision systems using point cloud, LiDAR, and other spatial data, drive development of core modules in the 3D AI pipeline, collaborate with data operations teams to ensure robust data pipelines and labelling strategies, identify and address performance bottlenecks, translate state-of-the-art academic research into working prototypes and scalable systems, and provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers and data scientists. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in 3D Computer Vision, Computational Geometry, or Machine Vision, a proven track record delivering full AI/ML pipelines from experimentation to deployment, strong Python skills, hands-on experience with 3D data and related libraries, and an MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. Experience in start-up or scale-up environments, familiarity with ML/DL frameworks for 3D data (e.g., PyTorch3D, Open3D, PointNet, Minkowski Engine), experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred), deploying to AWS, or knowledge of digital twin technologies is desirable. Candidates should be highly motivated problem-solvers, excellent communicators, and comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.
