The Security Risk Lead at Cambridge University Press & Assessment will play a pivotal role in driving the organization’s security risk management strategy by identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational, financial, and strategic security risks. This position involves overseeing the Security Risk Manager, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and embed risk management processes that align with the organization's priorities. The Security Risk Lead will also lead initiatives to reduce the organization's risk exposure, providing critical insights and reports to senior management. Additionally, they will be responsible for implementing controls to mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and monitoring industry trends and best practices. The role also involves managing the analysis and monitoring of emerging risks and ensuring corrective actions are proposed when needed. This position requires extensive knowledge of security risk management frameworks such as ISO 31000, 27001, and 27005, and a relevant degree or certification in Risk Management. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in governance, risk, or compliance roles within information security, the ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with proficiency in risk management software and MS Office Suite.
