Viridien is looking for a Researcher to join their 2025 Programme, focusing on subsurface imaging and geophysical research. The role involves developing, implementing, testing, and supporting new algorithms to improve subsurface imaging, validating approaches on synthetic and real datasets, supporting technology rollout, promoting new technologies to clients via publications and presentations, and staying updated on the latest technological advances. Candidates should have a PhD in Geophysics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or related fields, with strong coding skills in C/C++ or FORTRAN, knowledge of high-performance computation, analytical and problem-solving skills, and optionally experience in wave propagation, inversion, or seismic imaging.
