The University of Edinburgh is hiring a Research Software Engineer to join the Biomedical Data Intelligence Hub, supporting AI research in biology and biomedicine. You’ll help design and maintain software tools, optimize code, and work with state-of-the-art computing resources. The role offers the chance to mentor students, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to impactful research involving data like genomics, medical imaging, and healthcare records. Candidates should have a degree in a quantitative field, experience in research software development, strong coding skills, and good communication. The position is full-time, fixed-term for 24 months, offers a salary of £40,497–£48,149, and visa sponsorship is available.
