The Research Assistant / Associate role at the University of Glasgow is a research-focused position within the COIN-3D EU project, working under the guidance of Dr. Christos Anagnostopoulos in the KDES Research Group, School of Computing Science. The project is part of Horizon Europe, aimed at advancing VLSI systems, with a focus on Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools for reliability assessments and pushing the frontiers of 2.5/3D chiplet architectures. The position will involve planning and conducting research, contributing to publications, and developing your research profile. It also includes collaboration with European research institutions, providing opportunities for knowledge exchange in advanced semiconductor technologies. The role requires expertise in AI/ML programming, specifically Federated Learning, and offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects aligned with the European Chips Act. The successful candidate will also contribute to the formulation of research proposals, present at international conferences, and collaborate with both academic and industry partners.
