This is a technology role focused on reliability and safety within the automotive electrification domain, including systems such as batteries, electric drive units (EDU), and inverters. As a Reliability Engineer at QDSL, you will analyze potential failure mechanisms, conduct safety and reliability assessments (e.g., FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis, FRACAS), perform lifecycle component analysis, and develop reliability models using tools like Reliasoft and Excel. Your responsibilities include supporting Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), interacting with cross-functional teams, and identifying design weaknesses through field data analysis. The role demands a deep understanding of failure modes, risk assessment, statistical methods, and standards like ISO 26262. A degree in mechanical or electrical engineering is required, along with at least three years of relevant experience. You will also contribute to training, best practices, and continuous process improvement.
