GE Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team at the Eastleigh site near Southampton during a period of exciting growth. The role involves impacting operations from a quality perspective, including planning and executing tasks independently or with others, conducting product and process audits in compliance with AS(EN)9100 and ISO9001 standards, and managing non-conformances through company tools to ensure corrective actions are implemented. The Quality Engineer will support the Quality Management System, participate in external audit preparations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate across departments to ensure products meet customer, industry, and regulatory requirements. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace, Engineering, Quality, or related fields, have experience in AS(EN)9100, IATF16949, or ISO9001 environments, and possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Auditing qualifications or a willingness to train, as well as qualifications such as DQR/DPRV or IPC-A-610, are desirable.
